Calgary rent prices spike again but it’s not all bad

Calgary's rental market saw an 8.6% increase in rent last month, with the average cost now at $2,089. Shared accommodations also rose by 10% to $908. Alberta has the fastest-rising rent costs in Canada, with Lloydminster and Grande Prairie experiencing significant increases. Edmonton remains more affordable than Calgary, with an average rent of $1,507.
