A new affordable housing complex is set to be developed in Calgary's Inglewood community after a re-zoning proposal for the Brewery Rail Lands was approved. The Calgary Drop-In Centre plans to create around 120 units, including affordable suites with rents around $350 per month and units priced 10% below market value. The project aims to address homelessness, with the province providing over $101 million to support local housing programs. Groundbreaking is anticipated in 36 months.
